A family friend passed away on Thurs. 8th Dec. at Inverness. RIP. We attended the funeral service on Sat. last at St. Ninians RC church (which hosts a stained glass window created by him in 1979), the burial at the leafy Tomnahurich Cemetery, and the reception at the Beaufort Hotel afterwards. It was a beautiful tribute by a congregation of hundreds to a kind, hard working, artistic Scoto/Polish/Italian. We are touched by the simplicity of the ceremony ... the scent of incense and the latin hymns chosen by him. ... and, not least, by the amusing tales told with affection for him over tea and sandwiches. Our thoughts are with his lovely family ... his Mom, his wife, daughter, and two sons.

Snow on the hills. The roads.
Beautiful skies. Wide and blazing.
