Travelling home. Chinese. Cruisers.

Posting late. A slow drive home after the funeral. A silent trip ... almost ... along roads blanketed in dry snow... past farmsteads sleeping on ruffled white duvets and trees with naked branches silhouetted and spindly against arresting skies. Thoughts are with the family. Decided against a rush to Oban for to eat and headed, instead, to The Moorings at Fort Augustus. Food bland. Surprisingly tho' the place abuzz with the largest gathering of Chinese tourists I have ever seen ...  a few families but young fashionable affluent couples in the main .... and with two cruisers moored along the canal. Icily cold. Left the visitors in high spirits. Arrived home late.
